We've recently come across a brand new site that really appealed to us.  So, we asked Rob Symington to write a few words:

"Escape the City is a movement aimed at bringing together the growing number of people who are looking to avoid or leave the traditional 9-5 city job.  Instead, Esc will provide a platform to share ideas, to view incredible/alternative jobs, and to hear from people who are doing inspirational things with their lives (including people who have successfully escaped the city).

Our challenge to people is this: 'If you know that you would rather be doing something else, what are you doing to turn that dream into a reality?'  We know that it is hard (we're living the same challenges ourselves) - which is why we are building Esc (to help people).  We want anyone who is interested to join us at www.escthecity.com/blog and contribute to turning this idea into a movement!  We are aiming to liberate 2,010 people from jobs they don't like next year.  Got a dream?  LIVE IT!"
